Yes Belity. Things like journal articles, academic papers that we couldn't access without having some sort of subscription or membership can be considered as deep web material.

I was just wondering whether things like journal articles, academic papers that we couldn't access without having some sort of subscription or membership and therefore, couldn't straight away access using a general search engine - can this be considered as deep web resources?

From what I have read, I think there are two sides to the deep web.
I think the dark side is where all the illegal things take place and those who are involved remain anonymous. The other side is where you find valuable information from education, news to business etc

Lots of people say that deep web is infamous for illegal activities. Does that mean that there is nothing good to be found on the deep web?
