Texas A&M to Co-sponsor 17th Annual Chinese Internet Research Conference in Singapore

On June 28, 2019, CLIP and the Texas A&M University Department of Communication will co-sponsor the 17th Annual Chinese Internet Research Conference. This event will be organized by the Department of Communications and New Media at the National University of Singapore in conjunction with Murdoch University, Singapore and Australia. 

Co-founded in 2003 by Professor Peter Yu at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, this conference features multidisciplinary presentations from communications scholars, policy analysts, industry leaders, journalists and legal practitioners from around the world. In the past two decades, the conference has been held at leading research institutions from around the world, including Georgetown, Leiden, Oxford, Peking, U.C. Berkeley, U. Penn Annenberg, and U.S.C. Annenberg. 

The 15th Chinese Internet Research Conference in 2017, organized by Prof. Yu,  was ​hosted by Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas.
