“A Day in the Life of a SoCal Special Librarian”

The Southern California Chapter of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) is pleased to host this lighthearted panel, featuring some of our members, as well as members of: the California Library Association Special Libraries Interest Group (CLA) and of the California Association of Research Libraries Science and Engineering Academic Librarians (CARL-SEAL) and the LA Chapter of the American Society of Information Science and Technology (LACASIST).

Panelists Deborah Schwarz (SLA, Chapter President), Ben Lea (CARL-SEAL), David Cappoli (SLA) and Shelly Ray (SLA and LACASIST) will answer questions from moderator Tina Katz (SLA and CLA) ranging from how library school helped (or didn’t) with job challenges to the weirdest thing that ever happened to them at work.
